d.conomy

Course Syllabus

Ravi Bajnath
There are many layers of political and economic engagement in how we live our lives today. We will explore the intersections between our material transactions with nature and society in order to design a cooperative framework for local to regional labor confederation.

The world is shifting towards a bright green future while struggling to disassociate from an economic system that privledges a few people and exploits everything else. What we can do is learn to develop the capacity to distribute knowledge and resources in our communities for local welfare and flourishing. We will learn a lot of โ€˜Cโ€™ words; class, caste, cash, capital, and others that provide modern financial literacy to analyze risks affecting our livelihoods. Get ready for some spreadsheets, workflows, and history lessons from successful movements of the past, d.conomy is the mutual way forward.
