Veggies

  • 3 Cups of finely sliced Okra
  • 2 Tbs of Onion or Shallot
  • 1 Tbs of Garlic
  • 1 Tbs of Chili Peppers
  • 1 diced tomato

Seasoning

  • Boullion Paste, Cube, or Powder
  • Complete Seasoning

🍽️ Instructions

Prepare

  1. Prepare Okra by trimming the stem and tip and finely slicing several pieces at a time.
  2. Cut up aromatics to a fine mince and tomatoes to a small dice.

Cook Aromatics

  1. Cook onions until beginning to brown over a medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and chili, cook until fragrant.

Cook Slime, Develop Color

  1. Add all of your Okra and mix aromatics away from the bottom of the pan.
  2. Add boullion paste or seasoning of choice, stiry to incorporate.
  3. Allow Okra to cook over a medium until slime evaporates and Okra begins to carmalize.
    • Stir very little at first to allow slime to cook and browning to occur. The Okra mucus prevents browning if stirred often.
  4. Add tomatoes at the sign of carmalizing to melt into Okra.
  5. Continue to cook until camralized. Season to taste.
